All RESQSHIP members work on a voluntary basis. Everyone contributes what they can. We are always looking for committed people to organize information stands, help organize demonstrations or give talks. We often work together with other organizations, for example through the “Seebr\u00fccke – Schafft sichere H\u00e4fen!”<\/a> initiative. <\/p>\n

During our observation missions in the Mediterranean, we want to document the situation on the ground. It is important that the results of our work and other information are always communicated to the public immediately. This is why public relations work via our website, newsletter and social media channels is also part of the association’s work. <\/p>\n

As we rely on donations, fundraising plays an important role! We are always on the lookout for talented people who can help us obtain donations and funding. As well as creative people who can support us in the design and distribution of advertising materials. <\/p>\n

Sponsoring membership is designed to be permanent. It can be terminated by declaring your resignation as a supporting member to the association. For our missions in the Mediterranean Sea we always need a seaworthy, competent and well cooperating crew. Especially skippers, co-skippers, people with sailing and\/or nautical experience as well as medical staff are needed. The core of our work is the missions with our ship in the central Mediterranean. On our observation missions, we document human rights violations, keep an eye out for maritime emergencies and assist in rescue operations by larger ships. <\/span><\/p>\n
